Though we’re early in this process we do have some insight into what this party and celebration will involve:

• a worldwide simulcast over the web from as many neighborhoods as we can get online live streaming with webcams, YouTube, Qik.com, yahoo! live or whatever methods of broadcasting people have
• a time capsule of all the content on this site to be digitally archived in a multitude of ways as well as sent to the moon via X Prize/Google Lunar X Prize Lunar Legacy
• all registered party organizers will get a party kit with various party goods and organizing helpers
• huge media exposure (more on that forthcoming!)
• lots more secret stuff…

I think we’re learning more and more about levels of patriotism. I now know that biker jackets, loud bikes and sleeveless shirts kick the shit out of lapel pins which kicks the shit out of running for president, voting or paying taxes.

On May 1, 2003, George Bush landed on the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and gave a speech saying that major combat operations had ended in Iraq.

Five years later, the war still going on and the White House finally recognizes its mistake. Sort of.

“President Bush is well aware that the banner should have been much more specific and said `mission accomplished’ for these sailors who are on this ship on their mission,” White House press secretary Dana Perino said Wednesday. “And we have certainly paid a price for not being more specific on that banner. And I recognize that the media is going to play this up again tomorrow, as they do every single year.”

In neighborhoods all across the globe parties will light up the streets. Yes, full out celebration of a new world, a new future. A 24 hour party where we once again can share hopes and dreams we kept quite after year after year of the Bush term carried on.

We invite community organizers to join in the planning.

We’re looking to webcast from as many places on the globe as we can. We want to record the festivities, the hopes of people finally getting to move past this last 8 years, we want to record what people say, what they think, what the dream the future will hold.

We’re now planning the single biggest party in history.
